Pro- Am League Teams

We have seen many players playing pro am basketball, but now they are producing powerhouse teams.

Team Indy

Team Indy has a skilled young roster of NBA players and rookies, and former NBA players: Zach Randolph, George Hill, Shelvin Mack, JaJuan Johnson, Dequaen Cook, Eric Gordon, Lance Stephenson, E’Twaun Moore, Paul Geoge, Josh McRoberts, Roy Hibbert, Ron Artest, Bonzi Wells, and so many others. If you want to see if your favorite player is playing, just take a look:

Team Washington

Everbody has heard of this team containing Jeff Green, John Wall, Kevin Durant. This is also a team to be reckoned with.

If, you want to find if there are some other teams out there go ahead and google Pro- Am basketball in any major city.

Butler Lands Clarke

Arkansas  shooting guard Rotnie Clarke recently decided to transfer to Butler.

Butler looked like they might have a less-talented team than the last few years this year, but with power forward Kyle Marshall lighting it up against Florida and Rotnie adding his three point shot. The Hinkle Fieldhouse on the suburbs of Indy will be packed once again to see their Bulldogs and Coach Stevens will have talent once again, just not defensive talent.

Blue is Beast

In the world of college basketball, your uniform doesn’t matter, but usually the color blue is the best. Almost all of the top basketball colleges wear this supposedly lucky color. Take a look. Here are the top b-ball colleges who use blue: Duke, Florida, Kentucky, UCONN, UCLA, UNC, Pittsburgh, Butler, Kansas, Marquette, BYU, Notre Dame, Illinois, Syracuse, Georgetown. Blue is certainly the color for a college basketball team.

Looking To Redeem

After losing to North Central High School in the Regional State Finals five-star point guard Marquis Teague (Atlanta Hawks’ guard Jeff Teague’s little brother) is looking to redeem himself in the basketball world.

About three months ago Marquis Teague and Pike High School suffered a agonizing lost to the Panthers. I was at this game and felt the pity for top ranked guard Teague. After leading his team so far he failed them. Even though he scored 30 points on that misty Saturday moring inside the packed, loud, and legendary Hinkle Fieldhouse it is something neither he, Pike fans, or I will ever forget. He fouled out in the last minutes of the game with victory just a lick away. He slowly walked to the bench and realized he was done playing high school basketball. Now he is back and ready for a Championship with the Kentucky Wildcats. Look for him to flourish as point guard.

I dont know if Marquis has what it takes to be a NBA star after that loss, but we will just have to wait and see.

Butler Done Yet ?

With all of their Gordon Hayward,Shelvin Mack, and Matt Howard gone. Will Butler be able to reload or will they go back to the way it used to be ? At least they will finally have some NBA alumni.
