Monta Ellis is one of the key stars in the NBA, don’t think so? Well, I have come up with some reasons why. Monta has a contract with AND 1 shoe company, he averages 20 points a night, and he is the face of, one of my favorite teams, the Golden State Warriors. Now, down to business, how is the man not an all-star? This is why, the fans want stars in the All-Star game, they want supposedly, “big names.” Ellis deserves to be an all-star more than Marc Gasol, Steve Nash, or even Dirk Nowitzki. Like I said, Dirk and Nash are knock your socks off players, or used to be. I really haven’t met that many people who know who Monta Ellis is. He is hardly ever on Sports Center, he hasn’t ever been an all-star, and frankly, no one is interested in the Bay association. They did get some rightfully deserving players in the all-star game this year, only they are from the Eastern Conference. Note: We all knew they would pick LaMarcus Aldridge.
Roy Hibbert and Luol Deng are such hard workers. Each of them deserves to fly down to the “Big O” to put on a show for basketball fans all over the world. I am very proud of both of them, especially my boy, “Big Roy.” I have watched Hibbert ever since he was a rookie, he had one of the biggest gaps to fill in the NBA. He was supposed to replace Indiana’s “Golden Boy,” Jermaine O’Neal. He has done so accordingly and look where he’s at. I will continue to enjoy watching the slim 7 footer for the rest of his career.
I have already told you of my new fantasy basketball team, but wanted to let you know which star player, I have accquired recently. I made many moves after the draft for an elite power forward, who came as A’mare Stoudamire. I traded DeMarcus Cousins and Brandon Jennings, one hour after the draft, for Chris Bosh. I am a Bosh fan, but decided I needed a person who wasn’t the third option on their team. I had negotiated with Nik, from The News Of Sports, for quite a while, when we finally reached an agreement. I traded him Brandon Roy and Chris Bosh, for Josh Smith and Antwan Jamison. This trade turned out to be a steal for me, as Roy announced his retirement shortly after. I held on to Jamison for a couple of days until I got my friend to give me Roy Hibbert and Tim Duncan for Antwan and his Cavs buddy, Anderson Varejao. As soon as I got Hibbert, I worked a blockbuster deal with my friend, Kiefer. I traded him Corey Magette, Josh Smith, Nene Hilario, and my roll from lunch, for A’mare and DeAndre Jordan. My starting line up is now as follows:
PG Rajon Rondo
SG Kobe Bryant
SF LeBron James
PF A’mare Stoudamire
C Roy Hibbert
I have been working now to gain an elite center, such as Al Jefferson or Dwight Howard, but am getting less and less closer because other owners know that that is setting me up for a championship. The most important thing to remember is that trading is one of the biggest moves you can make in any fantasy game.
Atlanta Hawks power forward Josh Smith is on the trading block right now and here are some teams he could definitely fit in with. Enjoy!!
3.Blazers- Josh would fit in perfectly with Blazers the only concern is if Aldridge can play center. If they can make that work they could definitely compete for a championship.
5.Rockets-Houston is looking to rebuild and J-Smoove is a great fresh start to go along with Kevin Martin.
